We recently begun to add more features to Coaster-Count. Thank you for all the feedback. Today we have two great additions for you:

  • We are proud to introduce the Coaster-Count banner. The banner is activated for all visible users on Coaster-Count. You can change the banner-visibility in the options. The banner shows your personal coaster-definition and your strict, total and personal number of coasters. The strict number of coasters is shown in green, while the total number of coasters is shown in red. Please have in mind, the banner is an image that will be cached by browsers, so it may not always show the latest version. More information and how to use and embed see options.
  • Your coaster-list is now visible for non registered users by using a deep link. You can activate this feature in the options, further you can choose if non registered users can also see your dates when you rode the coasters.

After some more hard work the north american maps are complete. Thank you Thomas!
Here we go with some changes:

  • Every coaster that has been relocated or rethemed or changed the owner is now marked with a small paper. Folowing the link you will get a list of all the coasters different themings, locations or owners. You are able to show witch versions you have ridden, identical coasters only count one as used to traveling coasters before. You can help us reporting linkings between transportable and stationarily coasters.
  • Up to now Moebius coasters have only count one. Reguarding technical details of the track itself that seems fine, there is only one track though. But there is an important fact: You have to queue twice and you have to ride twice to have ridden the whole coaster, similar to racing coasters. Reguarding the fun on the coaster the track itself is insignificant. Beside that, you would have to count a half coaster on riding only once - you know that is not possible. So we decided to treat Moebius coasters the same as racing coasters and list both sides. Of cause there is no force to count both if your attitude differs from ours.
  • We canceled the filter for traveling coasters. Therefore we introduced the new display option "Show location" that displays "in parks", "non parks" and "traveling".

July, 6th 2007

  • Finally you can edit your profile to change your name or birthday.
  • We canceled the traveling filter and added a new coaster listing option " List location " to list "parks", "non parks" and "traveling".
  • After some hard work the european maps are complete. Thank you Boris and Thomas!
